I’m working on a longer post about Rachel Maddow’s forthcoming new show on MSNBC–you know I had to say something–but until then I really wanted to pass along this clip from her radio show on Friday.
Maddow’s Air America show topics vacillated between discussion about vice presidential prospects and expectations for the Democratic National Convention and, as she’s done with more frequency lately, Rachel took a few calls, including this one from disgruntled Clinton supporter. Take a listen as Rachel Maddow completely dismantles the caller’s argument.
Honestly, I think these disgruntled supporters (or PUMAs) are fewer in number than they’d lead you to believe (as Kevin detailed at Rump Roast). That said they are loud and now that vitriol may produce an unintended consequence: Hillary Clinton is considering not having the roll call vote to avoid a show of disunity on the convention floor.
We’ll see what happens.
